WELCOME TO PICKERING VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!
Pickering Valley can be found on 22 acres in the town of Eagle, which is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, 35 miles west of Philadelphia. The original school built on this site was completed in 1965. In 1975 a remodeling project doubled the size of that school building. 2006 ushered in the construction of the "new PV". In April of 2007, our new state-of-the-art building was completed and on April 9th, we held our first official school day there. We are one of ten elementary schools, which make up the Downingtown Area School District. Our school population is 644 students, comprised of grades Kindergarten through fifth.

PENNY WAR RESULTS

And the winner is... Second Grade. Our wonderful second grade students won the ice pop party with 39, 165 points. They beat out the third graders by less than 1,000 points.

The students and teachers of Pickering Valley raised an incredible amount of money, $4,696. Miss McGraw will be donating her hair to Lock for Love and Mr. Fernandes will be dying his.

We only need $304 more for Mr. Blow to shave his head. If we can raise it by Friday, he has agreed to go through with it. That's only 50 cents per student here at Pickering Valley. So bring in that money, if you want to see Mr. Blow bald.
