WELCOME TO PICKERING VALLEY ELEMENTARY SCHOOL!
Pickering Valley can be found on 22 acres in the town of Eagle, which is located in Chester County, Pennsylvania, 35 miles west of Philadelphia. The original school built on this site was completed in 1965. In 1975 a remodeling project doubled the size of that school building. 2006 ushered in the construction of the "new PV". In April of 2007, our new state-of-the-art building was completed and on April 9th, we held our first official school day there. We are one of nine elementary schools (soon to be ten), which make up the Downingtown Area School District. Our school population is 725 students, comprised of grades Kindergarten through fifth.

Maddie's Sunshine Team

On Monday, April 21, the amazing Pickering Valley students participated in a mini Great Strides walk to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. The final total is $10, 239.27. This incredible amount was raised in honor of their classmate Maddie, a second grader at PV. Congratulations to Mrs. DiMartini's class who raised the highest amount of money.
